The
Fred Hale School of Business has the responsibility of providing the best Christian business
education available. We have focused our attention on developing students to think
critically and responsibly about ethical solutions for today's complex business problems.
The demand for our graduates is on the rise with salaries growing dramatically. The
number of business students seeking a stable Christian academic environment is stronger
than ever and East Texas Baptist University has invested significant sums of money to meet
this challenge. The demand for admission to our program is rapidly increasing. |

Fred Hale School of Business |
There are several initiatives
within the School of Business that have increased the quality of education which we are
able to provide: a major investment in the infrastructure of the School of Business
including three new state-of-the-art classrooms; a renewed emphasis on teaching quality
which is reflected in student evaluations of courses; the new "high tech"
programs in computer science which augment very strong programs in business; a
state-of-the-art computer lab with advanced equipment and software; and an outstanding
faculty and staff who are dedicated to the School's mission of producing outstanding
Christian business leaders.
The Fred Hale School of Business strives to continually enhance the quality of education
offered to our students, and in particular we aim to become recognized as one of the
region's top Christian schools of business. To make this a reality, we must be able to
recruit the best and brightest students, hire a faculty with outstanding Christian
teaching credentials, and provide state-of-the-art facilities for our faculty and
students. Many of these initiatives will be made easier thanks to the generosity of our
alumni and friends.
When you support the Fred Hale School of Business, you continue to help the School move
forward in our academic mission by providing new opportunities for our students and
augmenting existing ones. Your generosity will help to ensure that our School of Business
can continue to build upon its traditions of excellence and strive for even greater
success in the future.
As always, we really do appreciate hearing from our graduates. My
administrative assistant [June Jones] or I will be glad to answer any questions that you
may have about our School of Business. If you would like to contact us, please send
us an e-mail at cwilliams@etbu.edu
Sincerely,
